Another celebration by Google - Happy Birthday Dorothy Hodgkin

Google doodle to celebrates Dorothy Hodgkin's birthday
Today, Google celebrates the birthday of Dorothy Hodgkin, a British chemistry. Do you wonder who is Dorothy? If you look on Wikipedia,
Dorothy Mary Hodgkin, (12 May 1910 – 29 July 1994), was a British chemist, credited with the development of protein crystallography. She advanced the technique of X-ray crystallography, a method used to determine the three-dimensional structures of bio-molecules. Among her most influential discoveries are the confirmation of the structure of penicillin that Ernst Boris Chain and Edward Abrahamhad previously surmised, and then the structure of vitamin B12, for which she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. She was the third woman to win the prestigious Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
When I searched more, I found this,
The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1964 was awarded to Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin "for her determinations by X-ray techniques of the structures of important biochemical substances".
Every past discoveries and researches were the foundation of our life now. The science and technology grow because we constantly questioning things. Like a child, a curious child who wants to learn. And that is what Dorothy did. She said,
I became captivated by the edifices chemists had raised through experiment and imagination — but still I had a lurking question. Would it not be better if one could really 'see' whether molecules as complicated as the sterols, or strychnine were just as experiment suggested?
That's it for today. Thanks for reading this. See you  :)

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro Movie Review (with Inspiring Quotes)

This is my first movie/film review.. if my review is BLEH (not good) please leave a comment/critics. I am still practicing my writing skill.. ^^

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro picture from IMBd

I just noticed when I was searching the poster of it, it's upside-down angle right.. hahaha
Okay let's move on..
I watched the film on Wed, May 7th at some local theater. There's a 3D movie for this but I chose the usual one. It's amazing well, it's AMAZING SPIDER-MAN after all.

Oh what should I speak first
First, lets talked about Gwen and Parker relationship. Since Gwen's dad died in the first movie, Parker felt so guilty because Gwen's dad told him to stay away from Gwen. But Gwen didn't like that idea at all (troublesome woman). And up until almost the end of the movie, he kinda see "the ghost" of Gwen's dad. It's creepy =__=
They broke up sometimes in the movie, but when Gwen got a scholarship in England. It's clear that they still love each other. As you can guess, they're back together just before the Electro strike again.

The villain in this movie's Max, the invincible man that has love-hate feelings for Spider-man. At first he loved Spider-man and when he became Electro, he angry a lot. Now I see the pattern -> angry -> angrier -> dangerous. Just like Hulk or Thor or Torch Man or Ghost Rider.

Finally Harry, Parker former best friend who was dying. He's the Green Goblin. His depression over the disease made him mad, now he looked like maniac. He felt betray by his best friend. After his best friend convince him it'll be impossible. (well, because the DNA for that spidey was Parker's dad DNA)

There're some humor and some "whoa" moments. Like when Parker found out his dad labs, super awesome. Time Square attack was funny. I didn't read the comic and I didn't know about the villains in Spider-man. But this villain, Electro, was so cool. It's like electricity become his blood and his body became electrical circuit. The CGI can be seen in those moment. Two thumbs up for that.
I know that we all think we're immortal, we're supposed to feel that way, we're graduating. The future is and should be bright, but, like our brief four years in high school, what makes life valuable is that it doesn't last forever, what makes it precious is that it ends. I know that now more than ever. And I say it today of all days to remind us that time is luck. So don't waste it living someone else's life, make yours count for something. Fight for what matters to you, no matter what. Because even if you fall short, what better way is there to live?
It's easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today, but there will be dark days ahead of us too, and there'll be days where you feel all alone, and that's when hope is needed most. Keep it alive.
I know it feels like we’re saying goodbye, but we will carry a piece of each other into everything that we do next, to remind us of who we are, and of who we’re meant to be. I've had a great four years with you, and I’ll miss you all very much.
Those lines're from the movie. (source: Movie Quote)

The Gwen's speech described the whole movie. And it's perfect. Thanks for reading this review. See you ^^
