Houndstooth, hounds tooth check or hound's tooth (and similar spellings), also known as dogstooth, dogtooth or dog's tooth, is a duotone textile pattern characterized by broken checks or abstract four-pointed shapes, often in black and white, although other colours are used. Why I am writing about houndstooth? I love fashion and see what's new in fashion. There're some trend but what I want to try is this houndstooth trend.
A little history explanation, Houndstooth checks originated in woven wool cloth of the Scottish Lowlands, but are now used in many other materials. In an early reference to houndstooth, De Pinna, a New York City–based men's and women's high-end clothier founded in 1885, included houndstooth checks along with gun club checks and Scotch plaids as part of its 1933 spring men's suits collection. So it's has been 80 years and we can still rock it!! What a timeless piece..
I will highlight some favourite pieces with houndstooth pattern..
- Shoes!! I love shoes. Every woman at least have 4 pairs of shoes.

[link] - Blazer, dress, shorts, skirt.. houndstooth can be everything!! All you need to do is paired it. You can paired it with white shirt, some accessories, nice shoes.
